This is a brutal killing of one of Georgetown's most popular gay. During his/her life some of our contributors Vividly recall the youngman/lady who was always the bone of contention in the backcircle area. His/her lifestyle as an open gay also brought him unnecessary rebuke and attention. One of our contributors recall him/her being employed at another hotel on Aubrey Barker Road in South. It will be interesting to know if he/she was killed because of his/her lifestyle or his/her death is a case of a botched robbery.
This will be a sensitive investigation and police must explore all leads. Case to note. About two or three years ago, a well known member of the gay community had his/her Durban Street home vandalised and his/her laptop stolen. It turned out that the fella had fallen out with his/her partner who in fact went to the home to seek revenge.
