Christopher Ram moves to buy TV Station.

Tracking news at 1:00 p.m.:

If you are one of the few recieving the GWTV Ch 2 signal, then this might impact you. Reports indicate that the television station operating out of Caneview Avenue in South Ruimveldt Gardens is about to be placed under a new management team that includes economist and talk show host, Christopher Ram.

The percentage of ownership by Ram and team is unclear, eventhough word reaching this blog suggests that they may have bought majority shares from the owner, Godfrey Washington.
Ram has denied involvement in any ownership deal, but indiacted that he was merely an advisor. But, of course, we vividly recall Ram being an advisor in the sale of Hotel Tower of which he now owns shares.

We have confirmed that the staff were sent dismissal letters and were told that the station would be under new management in a few weeks. The new move could mean good news for the station, which has existed in isolation for many years.

The station is being negatively affected by poor programming, poor news content (they do have a newscast) and a poor transmitting signal.

More soon...
