After terminating Fineman and Skinny from Guyana, the goodly Home Affairs Minister, Clement 'Black Cat' Rohee decides to reward the police in a BIG WAY. It's such a lovely gesture by Black Cat in an attempt to boost morale and confidence.
Old people always say that nothing comes easy or for free and in this case there is a catch. To get the reward, a policeman/woman will have to work beyond their shift. So slavery continues and our wonderful police force is just one large slave camp. Likened in the plantation days following emancipation, the majority in the force are black people.
The Ministry of Home Affairs has approved the increase of hourly rates for extra duty fees for members of the Guyana Police Force with effect from September 1, 2008. This is where you stop reading and scrolling your mouse and applaud Black Cat and his bald headed leader for not giving the police a well deserved pay hike, a one time pay out, a tax free salary or some other real tangible reward. Th bribes will continue and the collusion with the criminal underworld will blossom.
